Matt Groening, the creator of the longest-running television series ever with The Simpsons, has now plans to launch a new show for Netflix following a report last year.

Titled Disenchantment, the streaming service has given a summary on what to expect from the show, “Viewers will be whisked away to the crumbling medieval kingdom of Dreamland, where they will follow the misadventures of hard-drinking young princess Bean, her feisty elf companion Elfo, and her personal demon Luci. Along the way, the oddball trio will encounter ogres, sprites, harpies, imps, trolls, walruses, and lots of human fools.”

Additionally, Groening describes Disenchantment as a series about “how to keep laughing in a world full of suffering and idiots,” in a statement.

Netflix has ordered 20 episodes of the animated comedy series with the first episodes set to debut in 2018.

Furthermore, the cast will comprise of Broad City’s Abbi Jacobson voicing Princess Bean, Nat Faxon and Eric Andre playing Elfo and Luci, as well as Billy West, Maurice LaMarche, and John DiMaggio — who also starred in Groening’s other popular animated series Futurama.

Also, SpongeBob is officially getting a stop-motion Halloween special.
