Ben Stiller stars as a 47-year-old father (Brad Sloan) of musical prodigy, Troy, played by Austin Abrams, who is taking his son on an East Coast tour of colleges. While dealing with the anxiety of hoping his child gets accepted into the best institutions, Brad begins to struggle with his own personal success, or lack thereof, in comparison to his old group of friends, many of which have gone on to notably become rich and famous.
Stiller and Abrams star alongside Mike White, Luke Wilson, Jemaine Clement, Michael Sheen and Jenna Fischer in Brad's Status, which was written and directed by White (HBO’s Enlightened).
The bittersweet comedy is due out via Amazon Studios on September 15. Get your first look above.
