Where form meets function

A new leak gives us our best look yet at Google’s upcoming Pixel 2 phone, slated to drop later this year. The images, courtesy of leak website AndroidandMe, shows an apparent development model of the new device.

Much of this leak is similar to the original Pixel phone. The fingerprint sensor is in the same location, while there’s a slightly smaller glass panel on the back.

Strangely, while the iPhone 8 and other phones are moving towards bezel-less designs, the Google Pixel 2 has large bezels providing enough structure for the phone’s dual front-facing speakers.

In another controversial move, it looks as if the phone’s 3.5mm headphone jack has been removed.
