Cop It, Then Rock It

There’s a lot going on behind the scenes at Highsnobiety. You might only see credits for guys on the HS editorial team, there’s countless other hard-working, talented people working their asses off to keep things running. One such grafter is Nigel Minani, who curates the products on What Drops Now, our dedicated e-commerce platform. Nige sifts through thousands of sites to bring HS readers the best street culture products out there, and is our in-house expert on all things dope.

As well as giving us translations on the many German messages in Vetements’ collections, Nige also blessed us with some tips on his favorite pieces that have dropped this week.

“This 6-panel cap is the perfect piece to highlight your fit, with one of streetwear’s OG patterns.”

“Genuine streetwear from NYC. Color and graphics are on point to me!”

“I love our small zine series. The latest issue just dropped, and it’s filled with great photography by Mordechai Rubenstein. Get yours fast as they’re limited to 100 copies.”

“Camp shirts were already popping this summer but they will be even bigger next year, and high fashion brands like Prada are leading the trend. This piece’s warm colors and the slightly boxy cut are on point.”

“This is my favorite piece from Gosha’s latest collection. He blended a classic football scarf with a plaid wool scarf — genius. This will be a trending piece in forthcoming street style reports — mark my words!”

“NOAH’s philosophy is what streetwear really needs right now, imo. A deeper sense rather than just provoking slogans or graphics, high quality garments instead of just Gildan. Support these guys, you won’t regret it!”

“This premium version of Nike’s first track shoe returns with premium upper and a mismatched Swoosh. Honoring Kenny Moore, Nike’s first wear-tester, this sneaker is a piece of history! Watch out for the release on the 25th.”
