Manu Crook$ is enjoying one hell of a year. After releasing a steady stream of singles and building up veritable mountains of hype, the Australian emcee has finally blessed us with his debut project mood forever, an EP that demonstrably proves why he’s one of the most crucial hip-hop acts to emerge from down under.
Following his recent video for “Ridin’,” Manu is now back in front of the camera for “Day Ones,” a video making its premiere right here on Highsnobiety Music. In short, it is fresh to death.
Manu had this to say of the video: “We wanted to show Australia in a different light, it’s not showing too much, but you still get a sense of Sydney’s suburbs. We’re giving the world our steez, in terms of how we dress and the fashion out here… but you’re gonna have to watch it to get the full jist of it.”
