Earlier this summer, St. Vincent released a quietly gorgeous single titled “New York,” a big favorite of ours here at Highsnobiety Music. Now she has shared a music video for the track, one that is a wildly colorful, surreal trip through her idea of the titular city. Watch it above.

Among the tableaus St. Vincent creates in the brief visual, one will find her in a lavender room holding a swan, engaging with some of Manhattan’s instantly-recognizable street art in SoHo and Astor Place and speaking at a podium with a microphone made of burning bok-choi.

“New York” is set to appear on St. Vincent’s upcoming fifth solo album, as of yet untitled. Revisit her video for 2014’s “Birth in Reverse” below.

In other music news, LCD Soundsystem have shared a new song, one that won’t appear on their new album out tomorrow. Stream it right here.
