Instagram is back with another update to its popular Stories feature. You can now access Instagram Stories directly on the app’s website, whether you’re using a mobile, laptop or desktop.

Recently, Instagram has been focused on beating Snapchat at its own game, so this latest feature is a slight departure from its previous mobile-focused developments. That said, it increases the app’s accessibility and will definitely come in handy if you happen to lose your phone — or you want to browse on the sly at work.

Currently, you can only watch Stories, not post them, but Instagram plans to roll out full web functionality in the coming months. Head over to to check out the new feature.
