While most would associate Clarks as purveyors of timeless footwear silhouettes like the Desert Boot and Wallabee, it’s the brand’s Trigenic concept shoe that’s innovating Clarks’ long history of classic designs to bring them into the 21st century. For the last few seasons, the Trigenic Flex has been a revolutionary step forward for a company steeped in tradition as it looked to its past to inform its future. The shoe itself was inspired by an archival 1883 Clarks design that contoured to the natural shape of the foot.
Now, Clarks is ready to launch the next iteration of its Trigenic concept, aptly named the Trigenic Evo. Using the same principles as its predecessor—the signature three-part outsole and asymmetric last—the Trigenic Evo shifts gears and takes the silhouette even further into the future by tweaking the outsole and improving the footbed to ensure comfort in areas where your foot needs it most.
The moccasin construction stays true to Clarks’ brand identity. Its innovative Vibram footbed is designed to work with the human gait, providing relief for high impact areas of your feet. When you put all these elements together, the end result is a truly sleek and innovative shoe that clearly emanates Clarks’ DNA.
To show just how unique and stylish the Trigenic Evo is, we partnered with three renowned photographers to shoot three separate lookbooks in three of America’s greatest cities: New York, Los Angeles and San Francisco. First up is urban and commercial photographer Antonio Jaggie. Going by ‘Kosten‘ professionally, the artist’s aesthetic is heavily influenced by NYC and graffiti culture.
