Where form meets function

Over a year ago, Mitsibushi Motors cancelled its Evo series to the dismay of car lovers everywhere. While we may never see its like again, it’s been announced that the name is about to return to a brand new concept.

Rather than an elevated version of the Lancer sedan, the Evo name will add an extra “e” to become the e-Evolution. The vehicle has been described as a “low slung, highly-aerodynamic SUV Coupe” that is rumored to have an electric AWD powertrain with “advanced Artificial Intelligence technology.” Going by the cryptic photos released by the company, the ride looks pretty mean, to say the least.

Look out for more details on the whip emerging when it’s unveiled at the Tokyo Motor Show next month.

Speaking of mean cars, this Brabus custom might be the most powerful off-road vehicle ever.
