Nestled in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia lies a house that could easily be mistaken for one of Los Angeles’s ubiquitous modern style homes. But don’t be confused, for this has been purposely executed.

Tasked with restoring the beloved but decaying home to have a modern, Southern California feel, Fabian Tan Architects were careful to keep the original infrastructure intact. By extending the size of each room, the clever designers were able to create a space built for easy-breezy modern living.

Additional perks include a luxurious infinity pool with a breathtaking view of the surrounding landscape. Not a bad home improvement project, if you ask us.
