You may know her just yet, but RIKI seems set on a course for pop culture domination. The US-born, Jamaica-based artist has been hard at work crafting her debut, a sound that evokes cultural touchstones such as Grace Jones while employing the vibrant sounds of dancehall and afrobeat currently sweeping the charts. And Highsnobiety Music is proud to present her first-ever song and video, "Venting." Take a listen (and watch) to its world premiere below.
Speaking on the visual, RIKI said that "The “Venting” video is a statement, there is no story line. The song isn’t above love. It’s a statement of who I am as an individual and why I’m motivated and determined in my personal life.”
