On Tuesday night’s episode of The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, G-Eazy made the television debut of his most recent song “No Limit.” He was joined by Cardi B, who appears on the track, with fellow featured artist A$AP Rocky notably absent.
The performance was aired in black and white with a special grainy digital treatment to make the footage look vintage. G-Eazy and Cardi were joined by backup dancers, a live scratching DJ, and a drummer. Cardi B even changed the words to the last line of her verse to reflect her new position on the Billboard Hot 100, rapping “You know me/ Cardi B / number one on the charts.”
The Bronx rapper’s song “Bodak Yellow” made it to the number one spot on the Billboard Hot 100 on Monday, receiving praise from Missy Elliott, Nicki Minaj and more. Taylor Swift even sent her flowers despite Cardi knocking her song “Look What You Made Me Do” from the top position.
