Owen Wilson and Ed Helms team up to star in veteran cinematographer Lawrence Sher's (The Hangover films) directorial debut, Father Figures. The film was originally titled Bastards, however, and was intended to release earlier this year.
Featuring the same synopsis, Wilson and Helms play two brothers (Kyle and Peter Reynolds) who are on a search for their dad, after their mother tells them he had passed away when they were young. Along the way, they end up finding out far more about their mom than they could ever have bargained for.
Possible father candidates include characters played by J.K. Simmons, Terry Bradshaw, Ving Rhames and Christopher Walken, among others, as Glenn Close stars as the brothers' mother.
You can look for Father Figures to open in theaters December 22.
