Cop It, Then Rock It

Alongside its dope graphic tees and next-level denim, one of the most popular products offered by NEIGHBORHOOD is its line of incense chambers. Over the years, the legendary Tokyo label has made chambers in all sorts of dystopian themes, like guns, eagles, skulls, multi-headed snakes and panthers. This season, Shinsuke Takizawa and co have taken the apocalyptic vibes to the next level by creating Donald Trump-themed incense chambers.

A reflection of the harder times the world has endured following Trump’s election, the chambers are emblazoned with the slogan “CASH FROM CHAOS”, and come in plain white porcelain and gold color options. The products were teased earlier this month via the Instagram post below.

Both products are now readily available via Highsnobiety’s dedicated Shopping channel.

Elsewhere in the Japanese brand’s FW17 collection is a line of shirts emblazoned with the phrase “This Machine Kills Fascists,” a tribute to American folk singer Woody Guthrie, who famously placed the message on his acoustic guitar back in 1941. Guthrie later described fascist ideology as “a highly illegitimate criminal endeavor intended to exploit the common people” — not a million miles from the criticisms that are often leveled at the Trump administration.

As much as these chambers will sell out in record time, the Supreme hair clippers were out of stock in under ten seconds. Check out the story here.
