Stormzy has been riding the wave of his debut album Gang Signs & Prayer since it dropped back in February. Amidst extensive touring and his adidas collaboration, the grime star has just dropped a new freestyle teasing a new full-length.

4PM IN LONDON OUT NOW VIA YOUTUBE.COM/STORMZYTV 🇬🇧 GSAP FOREVER 🙏🏿

A post shared by Gang Signs & Prayer (@stormzyofficial) on

Spitting bars over Drake’s “4pm in Calabasas” beat, Stormzy talks about being an independent artist (“It’s the major that the majors wanna sign”), older rappers not liking him (“achieved the same things but it just took me half the time”) and his status as an internationally in-demand performer (“Man are doing shows now from Serbia to Kettering”).

Stormzy concludes his freestyle promising that new music is on the way: “I’ve been working fucking hard / the second album’s coming soon / I swear.”

Last week, the Wicked Skengman shared a short film called Gang Signs & Prayer which details the London artist’s come-up.
