Where the runway meets the street

After Urotsukidōji creator Toshio Maeda worked with Supreme on a Fall/Winter 2015 collection, Katsuhiro Otomo is the next Japanese manga artist to confirm he will be collaborating with the streetwear giant.

The artist himself, most well-known for mangas such as Akira, Steamboy and Dome, revealed the upcoming collaboration during a talk at Tokyo’s Shibuya PARCO mall.

Otomo was tight-lipped about an item lineup, as well as an exact release date. However, according to the artist, Akira fans can look forward to an announcement from Supreme sometime in mid October.

Katsuhiro Otomo’s collaboration with Supreme is part of a star-studded lineup this season including Stone Island and The North Face, amongst others.

Earlier today, we got a full look at the brand’s Stoney collaboration in full.
