In a new interview with Variety, Bruce Springsteen gets candid about some of the highlights of his iTunes library. While it makes sense that The Boss likes to get down to artists like Sufjan Stevens, it is something of a surprise to hear him lavish praise on one album in particular: Kanye West‘s The Life of Pablo.

“I thought that was an amazing creation, especially the arrangements” Springsteen said of the 2016 album, before going on to give his stamp of approval to Lana Del Rey (“I love her”). While this may be news for some, this is not the first time the rocker has expressed his admiration for ‘Ye. In an interview with NPR in 2014, Springsteen said the rapper was “incredible,” shouting out “Blood on the Leaves” as a particular favorite.

Springsteen’s interview comes hot on the heels of news that ‘The Life of Pablo’ has broken a major streaming record in the UK this week. Get the scoop on that here.
