New York Comic Con gave us our first look at what’s to come in the DC Universe post Superman with a new trailer for the upcoming Justice League movie.
Superman’s shadow looms large in the movie, dubbed Heroes, as violent crime has spread in the wake of his death in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice.
The majority of the trailer shows Ben Affleck’s Batman bringing DC’s most popular protagonists together for the first time to, you guessed it, save the world.
Batman’s band of heroes are seen fighting in Steppenwolf’s hell on Earth in a first glimpse at the film since the change in directors, with Marvel’s Avengers director Joss Whedon taking over from Zach Snyder towards the final leg of production,
Since reshooting parts of the film, there has been a bigger focus on Wonder Woman, who also features heavily in this trailer, due to the commercial success of her self-titled debut.
