After initially being put up for sale last March, Rolling Stones guitarist Keith Richards’s Greenwich Village penthouse was taken off the market in early September due to failing to sell for the $12.23 million USD asking price. For perspective, Richards bought the property in 2014 for $10.5 million USD.
Now, however, the Fifth Avenue space is back on the market, with an adjusted $11.995 million USD price tag, courtesy of Douglas Elliman.
Years ago, architect Joe Serrins renovated the three-unit combo, implementing an open floor plan and overall contemporary interior. The four-bedroom, four-bathroom apartment’s living, dining and entertaining areas are all connected along the Fifth Avenue 47-foot frontage, as the residence also boasts three terraces. Each of the bedrooms in turn has its own en suite bathroom.
