Mortimer House Kitchen, which serves exceptional Mediterranean cuisine, will be opening in London’s Fitzrovia district starting next month.

Situated on the ground floor of the art deco building on the corner of Mortimer and Wells Street, Mortimer House Kitchen will welcome both members and the general public to enjoy the eclectic menu created by Head Chef, Luca Unali, who has contributed to other popular kitchens like Cecconi’s, Blakes and KX Gym to compose an unconventional Mediterranean menu with hints of Middle Eastern flavor.

Designed by New York based studio AvroKO, the restaurant is defined by its open-plan and usage of natural elements with the implementation of marble countertops, terra-cotta ceilings decorated with timber and rattan panelling. Additionally, wooden floors and concrete columns that are complemented with warm furnishings and ambient lighting execute an exceptional aesthetic.

With a chef’s counter where guests can be exposed to the inner workings of the kitchen also one of the restaurant’s notable focal points, to accompany the dining experience, guests will be offered to try its signature cocktail list that includes six bespoke cocktails alongside a selection of classics. In addition, a selected range of organic and biodynamic wines from Europe and the Middle East will be available as well.

Founder Guy Ivesha shares, “We wanted to create an all-encompassing dining experience that welcomes members of the public to share the hospitality experience that defines Mortimer House. We will be serving the menu throughout the House to our members, delivering room service to the private work studies and meeting rooms on the upper floors.”

Mortimer House Kitchen will open in Fitzrovia on Monday, November 13.
