Ten years in the making, famed photographer David LaChapelle is preparing to release his final project. He’s become one of the most highly celebrated photographers in the biz from capturing Hollywood’s biggest names including Kanye West, Michael Jackson, and more recently Pamela Anderson in very dramatic visuals. Now, LaChapelle is proud to announce his long-awaited and final publication Lost + Found, Part I and Good News, Part II.

The first installment Lost + Found, Part I will focus more on current worldly and social issues that we face today. It chronicles LaChapelle’s strongest images as a visionary to date while encapsulating our time in history.

In the second installment, Good News, Part II, LaChapelle transports us right into his vibrant imagination pushing the boundaries of mortality and the material world. The goal here is to photograph that which can’t be photographed. It’s a mix of ethereal and dramatic visuals that have been captivating a generation of viewers across the globe.

The two-volume collection will feature a massive amount of culture icons including David Bowie, Naomi Campbell, Hillary Clinton, Frances Bean Cobain, Miley Cyrus, Lana Del Rey, Whitney Houston, Paris Jackson, Kris Jenner, Kendall Jenner, Bruce Jenner, Kylie Jenner, Dwayne Johnson, Khloe Kardashian, Kim Kardashian, Eartha Kitt, Keith Richards, Rihanna, Chris Rock, Amber Rose, Tupac Shakur, Britney Spears, Elizabeth Taylor, Uma Thurman, Andy Warhol, Pharrell Williams, Amy Winehouse, and many MANY more.

The books are the fourth and fifth installments of LaChapelle’s five-book anthology, which began with LaChapelle Land (1996), continued with Hotel LaChapelle (1999), and followed with Heaven to Hell (2006). You can purchase both books separately on TASCHEN’s site here.
