Where form meets function

Best known for what are probably the world’s toughest watches, Casio, the brand that gave us the G-SHOCK, is breaking new ground with its G’Z EYE EZE-1 action camera.

Very obviously taking heavy design cues from Casio’s line of watches, the G’Z EYE looks like it’s bringing the G-SHOCK’s toughness to the world of photography.

The camera is shock resistant for up to a 4-meter drop, water-resistant to 50 meters, IP6X dust-proof rated, and is functional in extreme weather as low as 14 degrees Fahrenheit without a case.

There’s no news as to pricing yet but the camera will see a Japanese release on October 27.

In other news, Mercedes-AMG is discontinuing the G 65 but a “Final Edition” is being released to celebrate the iconic automobile.
