Mazda just unveiled two of its latest concept models at the 45th Tokyo Motor Show: the Mazda Kai Concept and the Mazda Vision Coupe.
Concept models are always an interesting look at where carmakers think the future of automobiles lies and, while obviously designed to impress visually, not everything visible on past concepts has made it to production.
Mazda’s Kai Concept is the concept based closer to reality, featuring a muscular hatchback design that is complemented by a smooth, flowing style. Mazda promises that the model has been refined in all aspects of technology, engineering and design to produce a dramatically quieter, more comfortable ride with enhanced performance capabilities.
The Vision Coupe, on the other hand, is Mazda’s look further into the future as it applies a much more dramatic expression of Mazda’s KODO design language to achieve a more elegant and premium aesthetic.
Check out the visuals of both concept models above and then take a look at the car that wants to break 300 miles per hour.
