Opening Ceremony and Esprit have come together for a third collaboration, here for Winter 2017. This time around the capsule draws inspiration from college looks of the late 1980s and early 1990s.

“In the first two seasons of our cooperation with Esprit we have reminded us of our teenage years, we spent at the mall,” said Humberto Leon, co-founder of Opening Ceremony. “The third collection, we have become more mature. We have come to be heavily inspired by the iconic Esprit logo and the typical designs of the time, but we simultaneously developed and current pressures and new silhouettes used. So we can say that we by this Esprit Opening Ceremony collection go to college.”

The assortment centers around staple pieces such as T-shirts, sweatshirts, caps and bags, outfitted with Esprit branding, while new silhouettes like jackets, cardigans, bodysuits, and pants and skirts with carriers are also present. Various prints have also been used throughout, as the color palette focuses on pastel shades.

Esprit by Opening Ceremony Winter 2017 lands in stores and online November 17.
