The Odd Future rapper took to Twitter to tease the brand and announced that it will be unveiled at Tyler’s upcoming Camp Flog Gnaw Carnival this weekend, where Earl is scheduled to perform.
DEATHWORLD will also launch online, although the web-store is password protected as of press time. From what was posted on the brand’s official Instagram, it looks like the pieces dropping at Camp Flog Gnaw will be jackets and hoodies in light of the upcoming winter season. The brand’s logo, a spider hanging from a thorny branch, is featured heavily on the clothing.
Earl’s representatives shared the following statement about the brand:
In part a response to the practicality and nostalgia of sportswear and the current sociopolitical state of this spinning orb, Earl Sweatshirt’s new brand DEATHWORLD aims to deliver time-honored clothing for those who choose to speak profoundly, not loudly.
