After allegations of sexual misconduct made against Kevin Spacey, which alleges that he engaged in improper sexual conduct with a minor, Netflix has halted production of season 6 of House of Cards.

In a recent statement and tweets from Neflix’s official account, the company says, “Production on the final season of House of Cards is suspended until further notice. This will give us time to review the current situation with our producing partners at MRC (Media Rights Capital).”

Additionally, executives of the show are currently on set, discussing any concerns with the rest of the cast and crew, as the future of the show’s sixth season, which was reportedly and confirmed to be its last, now remains uncertain.
