Coming off of their recent collaboration with Dr. Martens on a new version of the classic Monkey Boots, Engineered Garments links up with Timberland for a new sneaker project. Earlier this week, both brands raised a few eyebrows after announcing their upcoming collaboration with a teaser video starring DMX. “I’m not a role model. Don’t do what I do — listen to what I say,” he boldly states making intense eye contact with the camera in the mysterious short clip.
Releasing tomorrow, November 10, Timberland and Engineered Garments finally give us a close look at the sneaker collaboration titled “Workday” alongside a lookbook also starring DMX above.
This collaboration on the iconic Classic Lug men’s shoes updates the New England outdoor silhouette with a streamlined workwear aesthetic. The right and left shoes are asymmetric due to mixed-material combinations of suede and nubuck leathers, while hex eyelets and premium rubber outsoles honor each brand’s DNA and reimagine the future of design.
The collaboration is dropping on November 10 and will be available at Nepenthes NY.
