bode – Tobacco Flag Patchwork Shirt Natural

This shirt is inspired by early 1900s tobacco silk quilts. The individual collectable silks, featuring notable figures, flags, and animals, were found inside packages of cigarettes and other tobacco products. Intricate handmade quilts made from these pieces of emphemera are rare and extremely delicate. This reproduction is made in India and features cotton ladder trimming connecting the tobacco silks.
