Electro-pop duo 0171 is concerned about our universal longing for intimacy. Between the ongoing reports and studies about the decline of millennials engaged in sex and how young people retreating from intimacy all together, it’s a trending topic that seems to be on its way to turning into an international crisis. While we all figure out how to go about crossing that bridge, Joe Bedell-Brill and Georgie Hoare have been across the pond channeling that energy directly into their music. Today, we’re premiering 0171’s debut EP titled Red Light.

“Our debut EP is about a yearning to connect, with your own life and with others, in a world where everything feels instantly within reach, but never close enough,” 0171 said in an email. “It’s easy to feel like we’ve seen everything, but only hold onto fragmented memories, that we struggle to piece together on our own.”

0171 also dropped an accompanying visual for the lead track, which you can watch at the top of this story. Stream the full EP below.
