Editor’s Notes: Berlin style maven 032c’s latest drop references early ’90s club culture and the competing urges that define our adolescence. The lookbook, styled by Marc Goehring and featuring his signature BDSM-style accessories, highlights the subtly reflective quality of the garments, which pop against the German capital’s industrial backdrop.
The collection includes unisex polyamide coats, denim, reversible T-shirts, reversible logo-printed training blousons, vests, cardigans, and hoodies in black and silver with a hint of pink and baby blue.
“’Cosmic Workshop’ is inspired by the idea of a shared experience of our teen years, when you are living in a productive tension between your reality — being in school, living with parents, etc — and your big dreams,” says Maria Koch, founder and creative director of 032c Apparel. “You want to fall in love. You want to be a famous artist. You want to move to the big city. There is melancholy and romance and also a lot of potential in that inner longing.”
Although the ready-to-wear collection won’t drop until August, the apparel line is available to shop now, having reached the shelves of retailers such as Slam Jam Socialism. Check out our favorites pieces from the drop below.
