1017 ALYX 9SM is linking with Nick Knight's SHOWstudio for a limited-edition capsule collection that celebrates the ongoing collaboration and friendship between Knight and ALYX founder Matthew Williams.

Knight and Williams have a longstanding history together, and since founding ALYX, Williams has worked with Knight on fashion films (like the high-octane I Am Velocity video from SS17) and printed catalogues, the latest of which, NEW HAPPINESS LOVE CHAOS, will release alongside the collection.

ALYX's tees, bombers and sweatshirts have been printed with catalogue imagery shot by Knight, alongside cross-body bags, wallets and scarves. The collection drops on September 13 at MACHINE-A, followed by a pre-order release on SHOWstudio's webshop on September 18, while Slam Jam Socialism and ALYX's own webstore will get the goods on September 18.

To celebrate the release of the gear and catalogue, MACHINE-A will be hosting an intimate signing with Williams and Knight, between 18:00 and 21:00 on September 13 at MACHINE-A on London's Brewer Street.

Here's six essential things to know about ALYX founder Matthew Williams.
