Floyd Mayweather’s “bout of the century” against Conor McGregor almost feels like a lifetime ago, yet rumors regarding the pair’s relationship still persist. 50 Cent, who you may recall waded into the pantomime just a couple of weeks before it took place, has made an appearance on Hot 97 for the first time in years, speaking candidly about his close friend Mayweather’s fight amongst other topics.

Sitting down with Ebro Darden, Peter Rosenberg and Laura Stylez, 50 was unequivocal when asked about Mayweather’s true feelings toward McGregor. “He really didn’t like him,” said the rapper, explaining how McGregor riled Money by frequently touching his head during the press tours. He then revealed how he knew Mayweather wasn’t kidding around when he placed a $3 million stake on himself to win the fight. (Ever the entrepreneur, 50 also came away with a healthy bank balance following a successful bet.)

Watch above, and skip to the 38:50 mark for 50’s comments on the fight. Below, find his appearance on The View, where he provided yet more unfiltered commentary, this time spilling on Donald Trump and addressing the NFL kneeling protesters.
