Rapper Tekashi 6ix9ine spoke to DJ Akademiks Sunday afternoon after being hospitalized for injuries he sustained during a robbery and kidnapping. He says that he had suffered "concussion trauma to the head" after being knocked unconscious twice. "I'm fine," he told fans at the beginning of the stream.

While he didn't name those who robbed and kidnapped him, he did say, "It was an inside job." He later added, "It wasn't no outside n***as. It's n***as that know how the king of New York moves, you know what I'm saying? The only person that can get a Pharaoh in Egypt is the person who helped build the fuckin' kingdom, you know what I'm saying? The n***a that's right next to him. The n***a that know who built that shit, that got the blueprints." Watch the full interview below.

6ix9ine was hospitalized after being injured early Sunday morning. According to reports from TMZ, the Brooklyn rapper had finished working on a music video and drove home, where he was subsequently blocked in his driveway by another vehicle. According to TMZ's sources, three hooded gunmen got out of the car, grabbed Tekashi, pistol whipped him, and forced him into their car. The men then demanded that 6ix9ine tell them where he keeps his cash and jewelery inside his home. Two of the men went inside the home, taking around $750,000 worth of jewelry and between $15,000 and $20,000 in cash. At the time, 6ix9ine's child and the child's mother were inside the house but were not harmed.

The three men then drove away with 6ix9ine in the backseat. At one point, the rapper was able to escape the vehicle. He then jumped into the passenger seat of another vehicle, pleading for help. 911 was called and an ambulance arrived to transport 6ix9ine to the hospital, where he remains.

In an update to the story, TMZ also reports that Tekashi 6ix9ine told a different version of the story to law enforcement, claiming that he was kidnapped at an intersection and was then driven to his home where the mother of his child came outside with jewelry, with 6ix9ine managing to escape shortly thereafter.

Earlier this month, the rapper was arrested for allegedly choking a 16-year-old.

In other music news, Offset was reportedly arrested on felony gun charges in Atlanta.
