A24, the studio behind Moonlight, Lady Bird, The Disaster Artist, The Florida Project, The Witch, Ex Machina and more, gives us our first look at its new motorcycle gang thriller, dubbed Outlaws. The film is directed by Stephen McCallum and stars Ryan Corr, Abbey Lee, Matt Nable and Aaron Pederson.
Nable, who also wrote the movie, portrays Knuck, the leader of an Australian biker gang, who has just been released from prison. Alongside Nable, Corr plays Knuck’s former deputy-turned replacement president, Paddo. Paddo has his sights set on giving the club’s profitable drug business to a rival gang, which ultimately leads to all-out war.
Outlaws is scheduled to premiere exclusively on DIRECTV on January 3, 2019, followed by a theatrical release in select theaters on February 1.
