[UPDATE] Wednesday, January 11 — German retailer 43einhalb has re-listed the "Solar Red" NMD_R1 on its "coming soon" page, suggesting adidas is about to roll out the insanely-popular shoe for a second time. According to 43einhalb, the shoe will re-release "early in 2017." Check out the listing here, and stay tuned for more information.

Since the silhouette’s initial release, the adidas NMD’s popularity has only grown hotter and hotter. Now, the latest rendition of the sneaker sees the adidas NMD_R1 dressed in a vibrant "Solar Red."

No stranger to maximizing comfort on their products, adidas is taking the NMD back to a mesh upper construction, perfect for breathability. Neoprene is used around the heel cup and collar, and a red-dyed boost midsole completes the fiery look for the sneaker. The shade of red present on the upper is consistent with the rest of the sneaker, giving the shoe an overall look of cohesiveness and suitable flare.

According to French stockist SNKRS, you can expect a release sometime around September 2016.
