After months and months of teasing, Pharrell Williams’s highly anticipated collaboration with adidas is finally on the verge of arrival. The singer and the sportswear giant have come together for a pair of the hugely popular NMD sneakers in what has just been revealed as the “Human Race” collection. Here, we take a closer look at the newly unveiled yellow colorway of the sneaker.

From the initial reveal, it was apparent that the sneaker boasts a unique lacing system that is connected to the midsole. It also sports an asymmetric graphic decoration of the words "human" and "race" appearing on the right and left shoe respectively. This closer look sheds light on a few additional details, such as another asymmetric touch of a rainbow version of the adidas logo appearing on one shoe, with Pharrell’s signature on the other.

The adidas x Pharrell NMD drops this Saturday, July 22 through select retailers like Sneakersnstuff and KITH.

In other adidas news, the brand just released its latest collaboration with designer Rick Owens.
