In response to the fact it's become nigh on impossible to cop the latest YEEZYs as the hordes of sneakerheads, bots and streetwear fanatics descend upon every retailer on the planet, adidas Originals is releasing a new Tubular Invader that looks very similar to the YEEZY Boost 750.

This new "Strap" variation of the little-known sneaker borrows from the YEEZY Boost 750, boasting the same hairy suede high-top upper that we all know and love. Crucially, there's also a prominent strap wrapped over the tonal laces and subtly perforated toe box. Even the vertical indents at the red heel section of the sole look similar to the ridged YEEZY sole.

It costs less than half the price of the 750 at just $147, and while it's obviously never going to be the real deal, it's really not so bad.

The adidas Originals Tubular Invader Strap is set for release on July 17. Pre-order a pair now at select retailers, including 43einhalb.
