Following this year’s Berlin Fashion Week, luxury Australian cosmetics brand Aēsop has opened its second standalone store in the German capital. Based in the city's West, the store is inspired by the historical context of its surroundings with an interior design that alludes to the trappings of theatrical drama. The project is in collaboration with Norwegian architecture and design firm Snøhetta and features nine intermittently placed oak pillars ascending from the floor, while old-fashioned fittings, including brass handles on cupboards and doors add textual variation to the space.

Visitors benefit from a luxury experience, both in the store's design and custom as Aēsop’s team of trained consultants are at hand to offer advice about their extensive skin care range.
