Real-time strategy gaming fans and nostalgia junkies rejoice, for classic PC title Age of Empires is receiving a remaster with 4K graphics.
Announced at E3's PC Gaming Show, the game will be titled Age of Empires: Definitive Edition and is scheduled to arrive at some point this year. The original was released 20 years ago and is considered by many to be one of the greatest and most influential RTS games of all time.
In the update, gamers will be able to play all the civilizations from the original Age of Empires and the Rise of Rome expansion. As well as revamped graphics, there will be a new soundtrack, zoom levels, and improved gameplay. An online Xbox Live multiplayer mode also means you'll be able to battle against your friends' dynasties.
