The Air Jordan 1s have already cemented their place in the sneaker world after decades of retros and celebration; continuing this tradition is a new colorway of the previous smash hit "Shattered Backboard" theme.
As the name suggests, the shoe reflects a moment in Jordan history when during a Nike exhibition in 1985, the GOAT dunked so hard the backboard literally shattered. The newest updates to the "Shattered Backboard" series include renditions of both the Air Jordan 1s and the Air Jordan XXXIs.
The new edition of the Jordan 1 sees the upper of the previous Shattered Backboard colorway slightly revamped, as the orange toe box has been replaced with white leather and the black overlays have been replaced with orange. Additionally, the Jordan XXXIs will share a similar motif, featuring a predominantly orange and black upper.
The pairs are set to release October 8, be sure to check out the gallery above and let us know which version of the "Shattered Backboard" colorway you like more.
