Despite each version of Nike’s Air Jordan having a unique legacy, few are as mythical as the Flu Game, wherein Jordan put down 38 points in the 1997 NBA Finals that he played while coming down with (you guessed it) the flu. This sneaker, the Air Jordan 12 in a red and black colorway, has been a rare find in the past, but Nike is now days away from officially relaunching it.
A few versions of this sneaker have appeared throughout the years, most recently in 2009, but this marks the first remaster of the original edition. Constructed from premium tumbled leather, the shoe features a red forefoot, outsole, tongue and rear portion while black finished the upper, inner lining and laces.
The Air Jordan 12 Flu Game is priced at $190, and goes on sale this Saturday, May 28 at select Nike retailers and online.
