Highsnobiety

The hazy period between stumbling out of bed and sipping the morning’s first cup of coffee is a painful, vulnerable time of day. Thanks to the magic of technology, that part of your day can be erased forever with this new alarm clock that also brews coffee.

It is called The Barisieur, and it is a clock/fully-functioning brew pot for both coffee and tea. It features a sealed drawer in the base for sugar and coffee grounds, as well as a milk jar that sits in a cooling tray. It was designed with the intention of assuring wakefulness with an alarm that hits at all five senses, but for any coffee addicts, the thought of a cup of hot java within arm’s reach should be alarm enough.

Watch the video detailing The Barisieur below, and go fund the project on Kickstarter.

Still feeling sleepy? Chance the Rapper’s deliriously excited new video should wake you up.
