At times, intelligent personal assistants like Apple's Siri and Amazon's Alexa can be downright creepy. Case in point, The Verge is reporting that people have begun to hear Alexa laughing randomly through their Amazon devices.

In response to the unwarranted laughter, Amazon told The Verge: “We’re aware of this and working to fix it.”

As the publication points out, Alexa is now laughing without being woken or alerted whatsoever. This has in turn caused many device owners to unplug or power off their gadgets.

Amazon has yet to reveal how it is working to remedy the issue, but for more, follow on over to The Verge.

In other tech news, this trippy iPhone illusion is blowing people's minds.
