On the first day of Coachella, both Anderson .Paak and Jaden Smith paid tribute to slain rapper Nipsey Hussle during their sets.

.Paak performed “Dang!,” his song with Mac Miller, as part of his set, and dedicated it to both Miller and Hussle, saying, “One hand in the air for my brother, I miss him so much, Mac Miller. One hand in the air for my brother, Nipsey Hussle!” Watch the tribute below.

Jaden Smith also took the opportunity to give a shoutout to Hussle, saying “We just lost a legendary person, an amazing man, a legendary MC, so I want to use this time here up on stage on Coachella to just say R.I.P Nipsey Hussle. We love you,” as reported by E!.

Smith also brought out his long-time friend Jordyn Woods, but his sister Willow almost stole the show with her opening aerial stunt. Not to be outdone, Jaden performed on top of a white Tesla suspended from the stage roof.

Anderson .Paak just dropped his new album, Venture. Stream it here.
