CNN have just dropped a tear-jerking trailer for the final season of Anthony Bourdain‘s, Parts Unknown.
The show was still in production when Bourdain took his own life in June this year, and this particular trailer features clips from the last episode with Bourdain’s involvement and narration. Watch below.
The episode sees Bourdain with fellow CNN personality W. Kamau Bell as they travel through Kenya. Most of the trailer is spent with Bell reflecting on what it was like working and traveling with Bourdain.
“I really felt like a passenger,” he says, “just wanting to be present for it. And I didn’t want to suck—that was my overwhelming feeling, like, don’t screw up his show. Everybody who had dreams of traveling with Tony, it’s exactly as cool as you think it is.”
CNN previously released two other trailers that deliver tasters of what we can expect over the six-part season — both promise to have Bourdain fans reaching for the tissues.
The new season premieres September 23. Will you be watching? Let us know in the comments.
