Editor’s Notes: Athletic Propulsion Labs (APL) introduces its most sustainable and lightest running shoe to date, the TechLoom Breeze Merino Wool. Developed with The Woolmark Company, the sneaker is made from 80% Australian Merino wool and knitted with APL’s patented stretch-rebound TechLoom upper.
The running shoe utilizes the latest fully-fashioned knitting technology, meaning the shoe is knitted to its final shape, reducing the amount of wastage associated with regular cut-and-sew techniques. The design also enhances wool’s natural breathability, as the technology allows for seamless design features such as breathable panels. Meanwhile, the internal speed lacing system ensures your feet remain securely in place, while APL’s proprietary Propelium technology maximizes energy and provides enhanced comfort.
APL’s TechLoom Breeze Merino Wool is now available in men’s and women’s sizes for $250.
