Apple

Apple has just hopped on the ASMR train, dropping four new videos that feature different audiovisual experiences intended to elicit a tingling sensation from those who watch them.

The videos move through four different sound-types — tapping, crunching, scraping, whispering — that concentrate on noises such as woodworking, rainfall, leaves crunching, and so forth.

The videos, Apple explains, are best enjoyed while wearing headphones. They were all shot on iPhone XS and iPhone XS Max using additional software and hardware. Find all four of the videos below.

On this week’s episode of The Dropcast we are joined Roger Gastman and David “CHINO” Villorente, where we discuss Gastman’s “Beyond the Streets” exhibit currently on display in Brooklyn, and how guys like Futura and KAWS have managed to make it in the art world on their own terms.
