art-stage-singapore-2017-recap-01

The 7th annual Art Stage Singapore convened this weekend, with a regional focus on Southeast Asia's finest art.

As one of Asia's biggest art fairs, 2017's line-up welcomed 131 exhibitors from 27 countries. And this being cash-rich Singapore, there were plenty of keen patrons in attendance: it's been estimated that works fetched between $14,901 and $42,574.

Featured showcases hailed from places as far flung as Moscow to Mandaluyong, meaning there was plenty of work for our present snappers to sink their lenses into. Above, we've collated a little gallery of our own, which features some of the best postmodern, conceptual, and abstract works on display over the three-day event. Have a peruse, and let us know your favorites in the comments.

We recently spoke to the filmmakers behind Saving Banksy.
