Multiple news outlets, including TMZ and The Daily Mail, report that A$AP Mob member and VLONE founder A$AP Bari has been arrested in London. Bari, real name Jabari Shelton, was reportedly arrested while transferring at London’s Heathrow airport, on two counts of sexual assault relating to an incident that occurred at a London hotel on July 10, 2017.

Last year, a video emerged allegedly depicting the VLONE designer sexually assaulting a woman. The video showed a woman having bedsheets pulled off her by a man who appeared to be Bari, who was then heard on camera saying “you fucked my assistant, now you’re going to suck my dick.” The woman is clearly distressed, and a few seconds later the man’s voice is heard saying “shut the fuck up bitch.”

The video quickly spread online, and Bari issued a statement on Twitter, which is currently unavailable, as his account is currently suspended.

Shortly after, Nike confirmed that they would no longer be working with Shelton, who had previously designed a VLONE-edition Air Force 1 sneaker for the brand.

The Daily Mail reports that Shelton appeared at Thames Magistrates’ Court on May 17, and has been bailed to appear at Wood Green Crown Court on June 14. TMZ reports that Shelton’s passport has also been confiscated.
