It looks like Lil Miquela is more than a virtual Instagram influencer. After dropping an exclusive Barneys collaboration, the cyber it-girl now has her sights set on the music industry, having linked with Baauer for a new release. This week, the collaborative partners present “Hate Me.”

On the song, Miquela addresses her struggles with fame and those who dismiss her because of who and what she is. In just over a year, Lil Miquela has gained more than 1.3 million followers on Instagram and landed covers for multiple magazines, including Highsnobiety Issue 16. She has also garnered attention from rappers and various other celebrities, in addition to the likes of CNN and The Guardian.
